Are We Okay Being Ranked #1 In This?

Blog post image

There is NO doubt: America is THE best country to live in! All of us at Activate Metabolics feel strongly about that! We are blessed to live in a country with so much opportunity and such freedom. Make NO mistake about that.

We all know that we rank #1 in the world in many, many categories. Most of those are good things … totally worth bragging about. But, as you might expect, not all #1 rankings are brag-worthy.

In our last blog piece we provided some perspective about “Chubby Children” in the U.S. and even provided a neat resource for you to be able to click and quickly see where your state stood in the country’s childhood obesity ratings. Well, this week let’s step back even further to see where our country stands as a whole when it comes to obesity.

The resource below was found on a website called in an article that was posted December 26, 2017. The title was “Our fight with fat: Why is obesity getting worse”. We will dig into some of the reasons “why” in later blog pieces, but what we wanted to do here is simply show one graphic that really speaks volumes. Check it out …

Maybe you agree that this is NOT a category we want to be leading in. Yet, maybe you are also part of the statistic. If so, we suspect you may be looking for a way to NOT be part of this statistic. If so, we want you to know two things:

  1. It’s not necessarily your fault. Our culture has mislead many people right into obesity! Being unaware and not having vital information (i.e. genetic based factors) may have caused much of your challenge.
  2. We are here for you! All combined, the clinics using the Lifetime Metabolic program for their patients have helped thousands and thousands of people. We understand America’s obesity epidemic. And, we are committed to helping our great country NOT be ranked #1 in this particular category.

Bottom Line: This is a category we don’t want to lead. Let’s work to be on the bottom in this one! If you’re ready for that simply click, call or just come in!
